Charles Dickens said it best: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us…”
As the world made adjustments to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, we here at MP-USA made changes, too. Transitioning to virtual classes for our Martial Arts, Vibravision, and energy classes was one of the most difficult things any of us had done. And we were determined to make the most of it: for ourselves and more importantly for our students.
There is a first time for every new adventure, and the experience is worth its weight in gold. We already know the benefits of our M-B-S Recharge (formally called Wealth of Health) classes: relaxation, de-stressing, improved overall well-being, increased awareness of our bodies. We also knew that we could be of service to a larger audience by stepping into the virtual realm.
M-B-S (Remote) Recharge is Born!
As the class started, the feeling of not having anything to do, other than focus on our individual selves, was liberating.
At the beginning of class, we start with a nice warm-up to get the blood flowing and the energy lines opened. We incorporate stretches to lengthen and relax the tense muscles of our bodies. It has always fascinated me how much tension we each carry in our bodies throughout our days.
Then we settle in to expand our mind and activate the energy lines, charging them up with our own inner power. The feeling that we get from these exercises is one that you have to experience to understand. For me personally, the first time I ever did them, I became very emotional. Feeling my own energy, in that way, was overwhelming.
Last, but definitely not least, we relax into guided meditation. Those minutes of silence and introspection shift the focus from the outside world, internally. We are able to connect with our higher self, the universal consciousness, or whatever term resonates with you. This is an individual experience that only you can have. The instructors are the guides, but it is your path to follow, and it is beautiful.
Preparing for Your Class
We want you to get the most out of your M-B-S Remote Recharge class. Here are a few things that we recommend to help you get the most out of your experience:
- If you are working from home, then chances are that your workspace has spread into other areas of the home. Take a few moments to put your work-related things to the side and create a tone and space that is dedicated to you and your health.
- The majority of our communication is digital these days. During class time, reduce digital distractions: silence your phone, close the other tabs on your browser, etc.
- Allow yourself to let it go. You might feel like all you’ve been doing is spending time alone, and that you have had plenty of “me-time”. This class is your time to take a break from stress, worries, your to-do list, obligations, and really get in touch with yourself.
